About us

We are two friends that have been hunting together since 2004. We’ve spent lots of money looking for good
deals and trying new things out.

From hunting in Arizona and the Carolina’s to Tanzania and Namibia.

We decided after a recent trip post COVID that this experience was definitely something others should enjoy.

Now we are trying to pass on our best hunts to others at affordable prices. Many people are intimidated by
the thought of hunting in Africa, however we have made it affordable so you can enjoy a once and a lifetime
experience at an affordable price.

destinations

South Africa

The Masada lodge is built on a cliff with amazing views. With Impala sometimes taking cover below your cabin you never know what you might see.

North Namibia

The North ranch has been hunted since 1995, and it is situated to the North of Namibia, just South of Etosha National Park (approx. a five hour scenic drive from Windhoek Airport).

South Namibia

Our South Namibia ranch is over 120,000 acres and is home to 1,000 Springbuck and 15 other species. The South Namibia ranch lies 40 miles east of Keetmanshoop, the largest town in Southern Namibia

Halal Hunting

All shots are taken within a 300 or less yard range where it is easily possible to get to the animal in order to do Zabihah. We recommend bringing a sharp knife for Zabihah with your other gear. We only eat the animals we hunt and do Zabihah.

Certified Measurer

Grey Ghost Safaris’ team members are certified measurers by Safari Club International. This means your trophies can be measured and entered into the Safari Club International official record books.

WHAT PEOPLE
SAYS ABOUT US

Faq's

In South Africa you need a hunting license which will be given to you on your arrival. In Namibia we apply for a hunting permit a month before your arrival.

Once the trophy has completed the Taxidermy process and is ready to ship, we will contact you to arrange shipping to your destination. Keep in mind, there is a cost for shipping from South Africa to your destination which is charged after completion of Taxidermy. Additionally you will need to use a clearing agent in the U.S. to clear your goods which will be a separate charge. There will be local shipping costs to move your trophies from customs to your home or office. The U.S. now requires that each hunter’s trophies be shipped and individually cartoned.

All hunting is done in malaria free areas. Mosquito and tick repellent is recommended as well as a personal first aid kit. We do however recommend that you do visit your local physician for any medical questions prior to your trip.

Once you land at the airport your Professional hunter will pick you up at the airport and transport you to the hunting lodge. Once you have arrived and settled, you will first visit the shooting range to check the rifles.

After the rifles have been sighted in, the hunt starts. In most cases you still hunt in the morning and then return back to camp for lunch. After lunch you will go out hunting until dark.

At the end of your Safari, paperwork will be done and your Professional hunter will transport you back to the Airport.

Every animal species provides its own challenge. Mostly the animals will be spotted at a distance and then approached by foot (Walk and stalk). Where nice hiking or hunting shoes that can be tightened but are comfortable.
